Spermidine derivatives and 9,11-secosteroids from a soft coral (Sinularia sp.)

Abstract

The structures of two new N-methylated spermidine amides, (4) and (5), isolated from a soft coral (Sinularia sp.) are described together with the synthesis of one of them. Two new 9,11-secocholestane derivatives, (6) and (7), have also been isolated from the same organism.
