The genus Anamycetaea, established for a single species from India, was initially classified in the endomychid subfamily Mycetaeinae and subsequently in Anamorphinae (recently raised to family level in Anamorphidae). The morphology has not been seriously examined since the original description and the systematic position has remained unclear. New material from the Oriental and Australian regions enabled us to study this genus in detail. We described four new species, and performed phylogenetic analyses of molecular and morphological data revealing that Anamycetaea belongs to the subfamily Endomychinae within Endomychidae sensu stricto, distant from Anamorphidae.

We describe a new species of thermophilic hyalellid amphipod Hyalella yashmara sp. nov. from the Peruvian hot spring Baños del Inca Cajamarca. We found that this new species can live in water temperatures ranging from 19.8 to 52.1°C, that, to our knowledge, is the highest recorded habitat temperature of amphipods. Our findings suggest that the North American species of Hyalella are likely to share a most recent common ancestor with H. yashmara sp. nov.

The superfamily Buccinoidea is the most speciose group of Neogastropoda within the Antarctic Convergence with ~70 species classified in 21 genera. We revisited the relationships of the Antarctic Buccinoidea based on published molecular phylogeny and recently collected samples. In total, 25 species attributed to 17 (out of 21) genera were sequenced for five phylogenetic markers. We synonymised the genus Lussitromina with Falsitromina and reassigned the latter to Prosiphonidae. The new genus Scotiabuccinum and four new species are described. Parabuccinum is reported within the Antarctic Convergence for the first time. All but two species of Antarctic Buccinoidea belong to Prosiphonidae. No Buccinoidea species are known to occur both within and outside the Convergence.
