General Information

Invertebrate Systematics welcomes the submission of articles presenting original and significant research (see Scope). All articles are refereed, in consultation with the Editorial Board.

There are no page charges in Invertebrate Systematics.

When preparing an article for publication, please follow journal style and layout as closely as possible. It may help if you consult a recent copy of the journal or a sample issue online. Detailed guidelines are set out in the Author Instructions.


Reprints can be ordered prior to publication. An order form is sent to the corresponding author with final page proofs.

CSIRO Publishing supplies the corresponding authors with a free PDF of their article upon publication. Authors may also order hardcopy reprints of their articles at the time they complete author corrections. Authors may create links to their articles from their personal webpages. All articles are also available from our website either by subscription or sale of individual articles.


The journal is indexed/abstracted in a wide variety of databases.
