Abstract

A study was made of organisms attached to six naval mines immersed for some years in north Queensland coastal waters. The most important groups represented were the mollusca, with ten species, corals, serpulids, bryozoa, and algae. By far the commonest organisms on all the mines examined were the molluscs Chama spp.
