Abstract

Flower formation and fruit set in tomatoes was drastically reduced by infection with tomato yellow top virus in the seedling stage. Infection at the time of flowering of the first and second hands did not affect flower formation but reduced fruit set and yield. Infection at the time of flowering of the top two hands had no effect on fruit set and yield.
