The Structure of Conorlobaridone and Conloxodin. New Depsidones from the Lichen Xanthoparmelia xanthosorediata

Abstract

The depsidones, conorlobaridone (4) and conloxodin (5), have been isolated from the lichen Xanthoparmelia xanthosorediata. The structure of these compounds followed from a comparison of the spectroscopic properties with those observed for the known cogenors, norlobaridone and loxodin.
