Compressibility of Molecular Liquids and Liquid Mixtures

Abstract

The linear pressure dependence of the bulk modulus of selected molecular liquids and liquid mixtures has been investigated by using equations of state based on statistical-mechanical theory. The calculated values of the bulk modulus for N₂, Ar+N₂ and Kr+Xe are in good agreement with reliable experimental data.
