Dr Datta Ponde studied chemistry at the University of Pune (India). He joined Dr V. H. Deshpande's group at the National Chemical Laboratory, Pune, India, and received his Ph.D. in 1998. From 1999 to 2001 he worked with Prof. Raphael Mechoulam at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, then with Prof. Michael J. Welch at the Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis. His research interests lie in the development of chemical probes for molecular imaging. |
