Other resources

  • Carnegie Institution of Washington Department of Plant Biology
The Department of Plant Biology engages in basic research in modern plant science. Located on the campus of Stanford University and equipped to study plants both in the field and in the laboratory, the Department offers students a unique research environment. A long-term goal at the Department is to integrate studies at the various levels of biological organization, from the biochemical and molecular experimentation to broad-ranging ecological research. Its philosophy of training young scientists amplifies the potential of such integrative work. Graduate students, postdoctoral fellows and associates, and senior scientists are encouraged to work between laboratories, bridging traditional boundaries.
  • The Plant Pathology Internet Guide Book (PPIGB)
A subject-oriented resource guide for plant pathology, applied entomology and related fields. Hosted by the Institute for Plant Diseases and Plant Protection, Department of Horticulture, University of Hannover.
  • Arizona State University Photosynthesis Center
The Center for the Study of Early Events in Photosynthesis. The site includes: About the Photosynthesis Center; Training opportunities; Faculty; The Nicelist: email addresses of photosynthesis researchers; Links to other areas of interest.
  • The Plant Photobiology Notes
Responses of plants to visible and ultraviolet radiation; stratospheric ozone depletion; UV-B effects at the Earth´s surface; experimental methods (including spectral data for lamps and optical filters).
